Volunteers from our Columbus office got involved in multiple ways for the
United Way of Bartholomew County. On Thursday, May 20th, Jon Nolting,
Forrest Plumlee, Morgan Jones, John Megel and Kevin Ely spent the afternoon
clearing a ditch at the Columbus Youth Camp. The next day, May 21st, volunteers
from General Superintendent, Dave Nobbe’s team prepared a lot in
Columbus for Thrive Alliance build an energy efficient house.
On Friday, May 21st, another group from Columbus tackled a different project
in town. Karen Kelley, Sharon Morrow, Autumn Lee, Kayla Truesdell, Casey
Loweth and Lori Boas spent the afternoon placing soil in the raised beds,
mulching and repairing the garden bench at the Foundation for Youth Gardens.
