For over 5 years, Milestone has been working with Arbor Homes to build a strong foundation for neighborhoods across Indiana.

Arbor Homes is a new home construction builder “with a commitment to build great neighborhoods and deliver quality homes at affordable prices, allowing families to celebrate life’s best moments.”

At the beginning of each project, Arbor Homes Land Development Manager Kevin Riddle is tasked with establishing the road infrastructure needed to build the homes and support successful communities. That’s where we come in. The Milestone team has built roads for more than 15 Arbor Homes neighborhoods over the past several years. This entails stone subgrade, asphalt paving and miscellaneous concrete flatwork. Not only does this roadwork need to withstand home construction traffic, it also needs to hold up for the homeowners’ use for years to come. The roads built help communities take shape.

Milestone paves a web of asphalt roads before the developer begins building the houses.

The quality of the road work directly affects Arbor Homes’ relationships with the cities in which they build. “All the infrastructure we’re building is turned over to the municipalities we build in,” said Riddle. “If it doesn’t meet their standards, they’re not going to accept it.”

They need a contractor who will deliver excellence the first time, every time.

When they choose a contractor for a project, the Arbor Homes team is focused on quality and efficiency. They’re often on a strict timeline, so the ability to follow through while remaining on schedule matters. “When Milestone says they’re going to do something, they get it done,” Riddle said. “Milestone has been around a long time, they’ve got quality people, they do quality work, they’ll meet the schedule. They stand behind their work.”

We’re proud to work with Arbor Homes to build great neighborhoods and make life better for residents, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the future!
