Decatur Elementary Learning Center, Blue Academy, and its community will be affected by a detour associated with the I-69 Finish Line project. The Detour will be for Mooresville Rd. Bridge over I-465 closure to build a new replacement bridge. Following bridge construction, we will be working on the Mann Rd. Interchange. We knew that this upcoming work would impact the school’s staff, students and bus routes. The project team of American Structure Point, Milestone & Walsh, and Parsons came together to reach out to the school principal to see how we could support the students during these times. Mr. Adam Allen, Principle of Decatur Elementary, stated that the school was in need of water bottles for their 1st through 6th grade students. Through combined efforts, we were able to donate 1,600 water bottles. The students and staff were very thankful for our contributions. Enjoy the school year, Decatur Elementary!
