Here at Milestone, we are proud to support many community activities and initiatives. We build long-term relationships and create enduring value by giving back to the communities we live and work in. We take pride in our commitment to building a better world for everyone.

United Way and Love Chapel in Bartholomew County have been our go-to partners for many years. The organizations share our mission of making a positive difference in the lives of others, by helping food insecurity though food drives, leaf clean-ups to better the neighborhoods and campaigns to provide resources to those facing homelessness. We couldn’t think of better organizations to donate our time to.

Most recently, our Milestone Columbus office participated in the Bartholomew County United Way Day of Service on September 8th. This is a one-day community-wide event where volunteers help with projects to benefit the community.

Terry Burris’s concrete crew worked with Love Chapel to install a new concrete front entrance and walkway around the building. This helped give the organization an overall better look and helped improve some draining issues!

The concrete crew members were Adam Wiley, Jose Ramos, David Ramos, Manual Ramos, Augustine Amaya, Lazaro Gonzalez, Pedro Ramos, Lewis Marolas, and Cory Hardin!

We had another Columbus crew on site helping on the day of service. This group helped clean up a local youth camp that provides camps for youth and adults team building such as wildlife preservation, church camps, football camps and more!

Lori Boas, Beth Brooks, Niki Nolting, Casey Loweth, Peter Soderstrom David Sipes, Pat Fox, Nathan Peele, Lauren Baugh, Jon Nolting, Amanda Muckerheide, and Kayla St. John started their day spreading mulch, cutting out stumps, and grading the stone in the parking lot!

A big thank you to all of these employees, who selflessly took time out of their day to help these organization and help make lives better in Bartholomew County. We look forward to helping next time the opportunity arrives!
